There is a new radio show starting this week in Chicago. "Jazz, Chicago Style" is on the air every Sunday night at 10 p.m. to midnight on WNUA 95.5. Hosted by Brad Walseth and James Walker, Jr., this show will primarily focus on local artists across all genres, along with artists appearing in the city or with Chicago connections.
Our first show will be this Sunday night and will showcase some of the talented individuals appearing at this year's Jazz Fest, including: Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sonny Rollins and Kenny Burrell; along with local stars: Corey Wilkes, Nicole Mitchell, James Sanders, Alison Ruble, Curtis Robinson, Dee Alexander, John Moulder and late great artists like Johnny Griffin, Betty Carter and Franz Jackson and many more.
